St. Isidore's Chapel

The chapel of St. Isidore is dedicated to the patron saint of the farmers and was built in 1719. Its Baroque origins can still be found in the relics of two lateral stairways which lead to a small cellar with a once very substantial fountain of water. As early as in 17th century the town tapped its water supply. Many times repaired and modified, the pipeline provided its - lately modest - services to the town until the 1970s.
