Stachelberg Fortress

This huge fort (bunker) stands close to the Babí village near Trutnov. During WWII it was a part of the Czechoslovakian fortification system against Germany, built in 1937-38 but left unfinished. Some of the bunkers are connected with a system of passageways and halls with a total length of 3.5 km. Today, the only completed infantry bunker (T-S73) accomodates the museum of Czechoslovakian border fortifications.
