Aichelburg castle

Originally a romantic castle, built above Temný Důl (the Dark Pit) in commemoration of Count Berthold of Aichelburg, who died in the same place in 1861. After 1883, when the Maršov estate was bought by Countess Aloisie Czernin - Morzinova, the castle declined and was almost forgotten by 1945. Thanks to the Aichelburg Castle Foundation, established in 1995, the castle was renovated and opened to the public in 2000.
