Krkonoš

This mountain road was built in 1936 and is the highest mountain road in Bohemia. Above Vrbata’s cottage is the stone grave mound, built in commemoration of Václav Vrbata and his skiing competitor Bohumil Hanč, who tragicallylost their lives during a ski race on March 3, 1913.
