Labská prehrada (The Labe dam)

The water basin on the upper Labe south of Špindlerův Mlýn, was built from 1910-1916 by the Reidich & Berger company from Vienna as a protection against floods. The 41.5 m dam was made from natural quarrystone with its overground parts romanticly decorated.
