Masaryk Square

The square is based on a mediaeval plan and has been the centre of our town for centuries. No wonder every house there bursts with historical events. The most prominent feature of the square is the town hall, redesigned in the Classicist style after the great fire of 1788. Besides many historical burger houses, you can also see twu beautiful Baroque sculptures from the beginning of the 8th century and an Empire-style foutain from 1838.
