General Gablenz Memorial

The 20 m Memorial of General Gablenz was built in 1868 on top of Sibenik's Hill. It honours the general under whose leadership the Austrian army won the Trutnov's battle on June 27, 1866.
The staircase on the inside leads to the top of the obelisk. Towards the west and northeast the lookout point offers visitors a view on the city of Trutnov and the surrounding area.
