Treasury of precious stones

Both the Treasury of Precious Stones and the exhibition of spiritualism in the Podkrkonosi region are unique. Besides jewelery, the "Klenotnice" exhibition features mainly local precious stones (agates, amethysts, jaspers, carnelians and crystals) silicified fragments of ferns, horsetails, lycopod and trees. It's like going on a journey through geological periods.

The attic of the building offers an exhibition of local spiritualism, featuring a remarkable collection of paintings by spiritual mediums. Nova Paka became a center of spiritualism after 1904 when Karel Sezemsky moved to here.
