Meadow of Pančavská louka

The meadow lies on a plateau north-east of the town Rokytnice nad Jizerou and southwest of the hill Vysoké kolo (High wheel). It is named after the river, that rises here. The meadow is a typical northern riverbed with maximum 3,5 metres in depth and with remainders of original glacial flora.

At the edge of Labský důl (Elbe mead), the road is intersected by the Pančava river. Here you can enjoy the view on the multistep Pančava's fall, which is the highest waterfall in Czech Republic (more than 250 metres).
