City Museum Žacléř

The Exposition is divided in four permanent departments. The historic part deals with the region's history until 1945. In the "personalities" section features a model of an historic aircraft called "Etrich-Taube" that got its creator Vladimir Dusek a model-aircraft world-champion title in 2002. The mining department is furnished with models of pits and mines, steel fortifications and many other pieces of equipment. The Ethnographic section shows more than 250 exhibits recalling the live of former generations, among which are some unique graphics by the artist Erich Fuchs.
